Alga is a versatile range of next-generation sustainable food packaging made from Kraft paperboard and a natural seaweed coating void of any chemical modification. The sturdy, tear-resistant products in the Alga range are perfect for hot, cold or oily food and versatile enough to be used for salads, sides, pasta, burgers and fried treats. The coating used for the Alga box, trays and clamshell is recognised as plastic-free under the Single Use Plastic Directive (SUPD) and garners a 70% reduction in CO2e compared to plastic (PP) alternatives – allowing you to serve up dishes stylishly and sustainably. In addition, all products are recyclable as paper. The Alga range is made in collaboration with Notpla and manufactured in the United Kingdom.
