Mandarin Jarritos-pioneeri, jonka maussa yhdistyvät raikkaus ja hedelmän makeus. Meksikolainen Don Francisco “El Güero” Hill perusti Jarritoksen vuonna 1950. Ensimmäinen Jarritos -maku oli kahvi. Koska kahvi halutaan yleensä juoda kahvina, kehitettiin maun rinnalle hedelmäinen mandariini. Sen jälkeen valikoimiin tulivat toinen toistaan hedelmäisemmät maut limestä guavaan. Maut tulevat aidoista hedelmistä. Kukin hedelmä edustaa tiettyä Meksikon osavaltiota, missä kyseinen hedelmä on tyypillinen. Vuoteen 1960 mennessä Jarritoksesta oli tullut Meksikon myydyin virvoitusjuoma.
