Valmiiksi halkaistu Scrocchiarella on italialainen artesaanileipä joka on leivottu hapantaikinajuureen. Sen salaisuus piilee vehnäjauhossa ja leivontamenetelmässä, jonka ansiosta leipä on päältä rapea ja sisältä kuohkea. Ilmakuplat kertovat, että leipää on työstetty pitkään. Esipaistetut leivät on paistettu marmorikivellä arinauunissa. Valmiiksi halkaistu Scrocchiarella Sandwich paistetaan jäisenä ja täytetään paiston jälkeen joko suolaisilla tai makeilla täytteillä. Classica-taikinassa on käytetty ekstra-neitsytoliiviöljyä.
