Valio Luostari® is a mellow and creamy Port Salut cheese that our cheese masters have matured for at least 1.5 months. The traditional Valio Luostari® is a semi-soft, crumbly and mildly sour cheese that was first made in Finland in 1951 as inspired by the monastery cheese of French Trappist monks. It also has the edible orange film typical of Port Salut cheeses. The pre-cut slices are particularly suitable for sandwiches, stuffed croissants and bagels. Available in blocks and slices.
