Black rice is a beautiful and versatile alternative in cooking that has a delicious, slightly nutty flavour. Like traditional rice, black rice is great when served plain, or seasoned with vegetable stock. Try red rice as part of a salad with sun dried tomatoes, olives, spring onion, or a host of other fresh and flavourful greens and vegetables. Based on recommendations from our customers, black rice is especially popular served with white fish or other colourful sides such as a sauce or puree made from fresh peas.
