Hoisin sauce is a brown and thick Chinese sauce made from fermented soybeans and various spices. Hoisin sauce is very popular in Chinese cuisine and in Southeast Asian countries, where it is traditionally served as Beijing duck sauce. Spice Up! Hoisin Sauce can be served as a sauce for meat and poultry. It also tastes good as a barbeque sauce and marinade. Try as a wok sauce and with fish, seafood and vegetables. Sauce is mild.
