Hot-smoked whitefish is more affordable than rainbow trout, and it is a light-coloured smoked fish low in fat. It can be enjoyed as it is on rye bread, in salads or to accompany potatoes – cold or warm. Smoked whitefish is also excellent in various masses and mousses. The fish is cooked with bones, so the ingredient has a stronger flavour, and the smoke is more refined than smoked fillets.
