Oolannin Mashed Potato base is made of Finnish potatoes. Our farmers grow the delicate potatoes with love and professionalism. Every little potato needs good soil, sunlight and clean water to grow strong. Once the harvest is done, we at Oolannin wash, peel and chop the potatoes for your convenience. Delicious fact: We use a full 2.5 kg of potatoes for one kilo of mashed potato base!

| Preparation instructions (Fin) | Valmistus:8 kg perunamuusiainesta, 8 l nestettä- 4 l maitoa ja 4 l vettä, noin 300 g voita ja noin 1 dl suolaa. Kiehauta neste voin ja suolan kanssa ja kaada se GN-vuokaan (25l) perunamuusiaineksen päälle. Laita vuoka kannen kanssa höyryuuniin ( noin 100 °C). Ota vuoka uunista 30 minuutin kuluttua, ja sekoita. Laita takaisin uuniin vielä 30 minuutiksi ja sekoita uudestaan. Valmista sitten vielä muusia uunissa noin 15 minuuttia. |
| Preparation instructions (Swe) | Tillredning: 8 kg potatismosingrediens, 8 l vätska - 4 l mjölk och 4 l vatten, ca. 300 g smör och ca. 1 dl salt. Koka upp vätskan med smöret och saltet. Häll blandningen över potatismosingredienserna i en GN-form (25 l). Ställ in formen med locket på i ångugn (ca 100 °C). Rör om efter 30 minuter, och igen på nytt efter ytterligare 30 minuter. Därefter skall moset vara i ugnen ytterligare ca 15 minuter. |
