Orthex Gastromax Bio Tongs (29 cm) are a durable and practical kitchen tool made from bio-based PA plastic. The material has up to an 80% lower carbon footprint compared to conventional virgin plastic. The tongs are made from a unique composite material consisting of 98% bio-based raw materials: 58–63% bio-based PA plastic made from sugarcane 35–40% wood fiber from Swedish spruce 1–2% additives The material combines the natural look and strength of wood with the functional advantages of plastic, such as durability and dishwasher safety.
