The Finnish Fredman Carita® Premium is the star of all-purpose cloths – incredibly absorbent, hygienic and lint-free. The thick cloth can absorb more than 10 times its own weight in liquid. Used Fredman Carita® Premium cloths can be freely disposed of with biowaste, as they are entirely biodegradable. Suitable for food use, Fredman Carita® fiber cloths have been proven food safe, and they comply with official requirements. The Fredman Carita® Premium fiber cloth can be used in contact with dry, moist and greasy food products. In addition, it is suitable for long-term storage as well as all kinds of preservation. The fiber cloth is well suited for: •straining liquids, filtering and pressing •drying salads and vegetables •preserving salads in cold rooms. Lettuce stays crunchy when it is gently folded inside a damp Carita cloth. •slow cooking and brewing, but it should be noted that the fiber cloth can be heated for a maximum of two hours at 70°C or fifteen minutes at 100°C.
